Planning – Comments and mark out of 20/20
Candidate has shown excellence throughout the tasks. Additional work on what
happens in the rest of the film, colour meanings, song permissions, photo
storyboards, drafts, risk assessment, film title choices make this an excellent body of
work for the pre-production. Good use of technologies throughout, excellent
presentation, detail and time management.
Construction – Main Task – comments and mark out of 47/60
The candidate has shown proficiency in the in the creative use of most of the
technical skills.
Good use of titles. Good use of sound and editing appropriate to task. Good variety
of camera shots. Excellent attention to mes en scene through location and props.
Evaluation – Comments and mark out of 17/20
Question 1 – answered excellently using a youtube video. Good references to prior
research and the post production stages.
Question 2 – answered excellently using prezi. Quite a large target audience and
social group but covered well in the answer.
Question 3 – answered excellently using powerpoint and slideshare. Good use of
examples.
Question 4 – answered well using powerpoint, slideshare and avatar creators. Good
use of photos and examples to state who your target audience is.
Question 5 – answered using a focus group (youtube video) and questionnaires.
Good analysis of the results – questionnaire results could have been turned into
some visual like graphs.
Question 6 – answered excellently using prezi. All technologies used and covered
well.
Question 7 – answered very fully using a youtube commentary video. Great
reflection on the preliminary and final piece.
Overall an excellent evaluation piece made with a good range of technologies.
