The Journey of the Heart

This story is about how humanity forgot that we are all one and started fighting and hurting each other. A voice was then heard calling everyone to listen in silence, where they found peace, love and healing. They realized they are all connected and set out together in love to help others remember and heal as well, so the journey of remembrance and unity continues.

- 10. And the Heart was LOVE
- 11. And the Heart was All
- 12. And the Heart was One
- 13. Then…
- 17. And the Many set out together on a journey
- 18. After a while…
- 20. …that each was part of the One…
- 21. …and there was fighting
- 22. …and words like daggers
- 23. …and looks that could kill
- 24. And the hearts of parents started stepping on the hearts of children
- 25. And the hearts of teachers started KICKING the hearts of pupils
- 26. And the hearts of men started STAMPING on the hearts of women
- 27. And the hearts of managers started JuMpInG on the hearts of employees
- 28. And soon…
- 29. …the children’s hearts were trampling on the parents’ hearts, the pupils’ on the teachers’, the women’s on the men’s, and the employees’ on the managers’
- 30. And in each heart there was...
- 32. But the pain was largely self-pity
- 33. And so (of self-pity) the pain pushed all the hearts away from each other
- 34. And there, far apart, they tended their wounds
- 36. While others turned to stone…
- 37. And this went on and on…
- 38. …and on…
- 39. …and on
- 40. AND ON
- 41. But then…
- 42. a voice was heard…
- 45. And the voice was heard in EVERY heart
- 46. But none of the hearts knew from where the voice had come
- 47. Not knowing from where the voice had come, some chose to ignore the voice and they continued…
- 48. …with fighting …and words …and looks
- 49. But some chose to heed the voice
- 50. They stopped
- 52. And this is what they heard…
- 53. [… silence …]
- 54. […]
- 55. […]
- 56. […]
- 57. And in the silence they encountered peace
- 58. and in the peace they met LOVE
- 59. and because of the LOVE …
- 60. …they saw each other’s wounds…
- 61. …and felt each other’s pain
- 62. And through the pain, because of the LOVE, within the peace, engulfed by the silence…
- 64. And they turned their backs on their ways of old
- 65. And so that time became known as…
- 67. And in that time of The Great Turning each heart looked at all the other hearts and this is what they saw…
- 69. And when they looked a little harder…
- 71. And when they really, really looked…
- 73. And in that moment they remembered that…
- 75. was All One
- 76. And the One was…
- 77. LOVE
- 78. And so together they set out, in LOVE, to nurse the broken hearts that still lived in the land of forgetting so that they too might turn
- 79. …and so the journey continues
