ChaLEAN Extreme Review

                      A lot of people make a promise to themselves that they are
                      going to lose weight. I made this same promise to myself in
                      2012, after my second child was born. I found a program
                      called ChaLEAN Extreme and decided to give it a try.
                      ChaLEAN Extreme is 15 workouts on 6 DVD's you can do
                      in your own home. Having two young kids I needed
                      something I could do without having to find and pay a
                      babysitter or pack the kids up and drive to. I was also
                      looking for something that wouldn't take a huge part of my
day, because I just didn't have much time to myself to fit exercise in! All the
workouts in ChaLEAN Extreme are about 35 minutes, the longest being 45
minutes. It's a 90 day program and it comes with resistance bands, so if you don't
own any weights you don't have to go buy them. One of my favorite things about
this program was how well I felt like I was being coached. The program comes
with a DVD called Burn Basics in which Chalene Johnson shows you the different
moves and how it's supposed to look and feel. Also, throughout her program she
reminds you to keep your knees above your ankles or stick your booty out to
improve your form. I was not injured once while using her program and I believe
it's because she did such a fantastic job going over proper form. I didn't use the
bands because I have weights but there is also a DVD that goes over how to use
the resistance bands. ChaLEAN Extreme is all about how muscle burns fat and
the majority of the workouts are lifting, with some cardio mixed in. I was a little
nervous about that because I really didn't want to left too much and get bulky. I
just wanted to lose a couple pounds and tone things up. But, I found I could lift
heavy weight without bulking up! By the end of the 90 days I had exceeded my
goals and lost 13 pounds and inches off of my waist, butt, and thighs!
I would highly recommend this program for anyone looking to lose some weight
and get in shape. I loved it so much that I have completed the program more than
once! The hard part with any exercise program is getting up and doing it every
day. Chalene Johnson is such an energetic, lovable coach that makes every
workout fun and exciting!
