As Buddhist we want to tell the world that we are against bullying.
There are about 350 million Buddhist around the world, which takes
up 6% of the world’s population. As a group we want to stop
bullying. Face book and twitter is against bullying also, and they are
helping us tell the world that bullying should stop. There are about
800 million active Face book users and about 500 million active
twitter users. Together we can spread the word, and stop bullying.

1 out of 4 kids are Bullied.
77% of students are bullied mentally, verbally, & physically.
77% of the students said they had been bullied. And 14% of those
who were bullied said they experienced severe reactions to the
abuse.
1 out of 5 kids admits to being a bully.
8% of students miss 1 day of class per month for fear of Bullies.
43% fear harassment in the bathroom at school.
A poll of teens ages 12-17 proved that they think violence increased
at their schools.
282,000 students are physically attacked in secondary schools each
month.
More youth violence occurs on school grounds as opposed to on the
way to school.

7. From a Buddhist:
Tibetan teacher and founder of the Shambhala Tradition, Chogyam
Trungpa Rinpoche, often talked about the poverty mentality. He was
referring to the feeling that you aren’t good enough or don’t have
enough. This can lead to aggression. When someone exposes our
weaknesses, it can be painful and we can quickly feel victimized.
We start feeling sorry for ourselves and even incomplete. The more
we think about it, the more we become a victim in the sense that our
negative emotions take hold and lead us down darker paths. Instead
of being a victim, be present with those raw feelings, whether they
are anger, pain or helplessness.Take a deep breath and recognize
what those emotions feel like in your body. Then let them go and
move on with your life.
