1 Surveyed local town Juwka and designed a new logistic for Jukwa farmers to help the making process.
It is a case started in Jukwa, a small town in
Ghana. The local farmers encounter many
obstacles while they are trying to enhance their
profits from their farm products-palm oils. With
industrial engineering background, I surveyed
local factories in the view point of logistics and
provided some possible solutions. From
planning the project to coordinating with the
team members and local people, I believe the
case adequately shows my design leadership.
“Jukwa rural farming” is the document I used to
apply to U.S African Development Foundation
for funding. I created a budget list which I
established with the local farmers to understand
their specific needs. I also recorded the design
process itself, trying to gain insight from people
from different fields, and involve them in the
process.

2 Participated in archival projects to record the culture and history of an indigenous tribe in Ghana.
The Denkyira Kingdom is the largest and most
populous kingdom in Ghana. There are many
precious royal treasures which go undocumented
because they are lacking the tools of information
technologies. We also wanted to tell the story of
this Denkyira Kingdom. So we decided to start the
project: Digital archive.
Digital archive is a continuous project year by year.
The goal is to preserve the royal treasures and
history of the Denkyira Kingdom. Our team
interviewed the royal family, the minister, and the
local citizens. To show innovative design process,
please observe details in the video. We took down
the detailed itemization of the treasures in the
report
Documentation of artifacts in Denkyira Kingdom.
We shared the information on Wikimedia. In the
future, I plan to store the treasures in a digital
reservation by employing the system Second Life.
