The Liberal finance minister assumed that taxes were useful but indeed a loss -- not to government,
but to the citizens who pay the tax. Taxes are necessary, but we must be judicious about the money
sent to politicians and civil servants. That includes understanding the money first belongs to
Canadians.
At first, I leaned toward keeping our kids vaccine-free. I thought the concern about vaccination
made sense. But after hearing both sides of the argument, I decided facts were my friends. I couldn't
rely on word-of-mouth, friend-of-a-friend information. It was going to require actual research from
vetted sources; I wanted the truth.
The Toronto Police Services board approved and endorsed a policy of racial profiling -- carding -- to
keep track of residents who look like me last night. If refusing to reappoint Councillor Michael
Thompson, the lone black member of the Toronto Police board, was not enough, Mayor John Tory
voted to endorse it. I am disappointed and we should all be outraged.
My son and his future wife, live together in a small apartment. They are hoping to soon purchase a
house. When we discussed the shower, she told me that she is thinking of a money shower. This
seems very tacky to me. I am mortified. What should I do?

Recently, Quebec has witnessed very alarming anti-Muslim and anti-Islam rhetoric that has led to

One year later, what has #BringBackOurGirls accomplished? It didn't bring the girls home. Second-
