2. I used a website called Blogger to keep track
of my progress and to present my work.
Blogger allows you to upload photos and
presentations to show people your work. I
also presented my work on Prezi, slide share
and Microsoft PowerPoint. I also recorded my
self talking and uploaded the podcast to
blogger to verbally speak about my project
and what I have been learning about.
3. In order to get photos for my magazine I used
a good quality Panasonic Lumix Camera.
When I created my magazine I used an image
manipulation software called Adobe
Photoshop. Photoshop allows you to edit and
manipulate images to how you want them, it
also allows you to place text on top of
images and adjust the sizing of them. I also
used a software called In Design which
allowed me to produce my double page
feature. In Design lets you upload images and
allows you to create an article-like page.
4. To upload a podcast on to my blog I recorded
myself speaking on my mobile phone. I then
uploaded the recording onto a website called
Sound Cloud which allows you to upload any
type of recordings to it. When I spoke about
my magazine I filmed myself presenting a
PowerPoint and talked about the features
and conventions of my magazine.
5. I used other various technologies such as:
YouTube- To upload audience responses, and film
myself talking about my work.
Emaze- I used a PowerPoint tool to present my
work and talk about my evaluations. I also used
this tool to present my planning.
Blogger- This tool allowed me to upload the
stages of my work and show my progression
during producing this product. The use of new
technologies have allowed me to take advantage
of web 2.0. This has also allowed me to become
a prosumer which means I can consume
information over the internet and produce
material for a global audience across the
internet.
