The Living Well Challenge presented by our National Association encourages us to promote living well activities in our communities. This year’s Living Well Challenge for NC will be to “practice what we preach” Let’s begin with a PROCLAMATION!
For slides 2 -5 – simply read..
Are you ready for the CHALLENGE? Yeah, I know. – you don’t want to commit to anything that will add ONE MORE THING to your plate! HOW DO WE FIT IT ALL IN??? Now that we have heard the proclamation, let’s talk a little about how we will proceed with the Living Well Challenge/Competition/Celebration for our Association
We can always tell others how to take care of themselves; but, it is quite another story to put into practice in our daily lives those same principles. So, let’s take a few minutes to think about some “wishes” that we might have for ourselves. Please take these “sticky notes” and write 10 things that you “wish” you could do. (Presenter: Please make sure sticky notes are all the same color.) One “wish” per note. After you have written these down please post them on this poster board. Any place on the board is fine. (Presenter: You will then take notes and place in some type of category on the poster board. Then briefly go over similarities with group and pick one of the groups as an illustration for using the upcoming SMART goals as listed in the next slide.
OK. Now you will look at the “wishes” list that you made for yourself. Pick 3 that you can make SMART GOALS FOR.
