- The idea for this presentation came while I was searching for ideas for news posts.I had a feeling I couldn’t be alone in this.Today, I wanted to discuss ideas for posts and give all of you an opportunity to share your ideas.
- We’ll discuss where to start with thinking about writing for a library blog, look at examples for inspiration, and then talk about how to organize ideas and plan for blogging.

- Next question:Who is your audience?
- What kind of tone do you want to set?How do you want to represent your library?A new blog, a new writer, or a new post offers a blank slate, but it helps to think about this as you start or change over time.
- How much time and effort do you have to put into this?Think about how often you want to post and the length of the posts you want to put up.
- So, let’s talk about some ideas for posts.I wanted to take this opportunity to share great ideas that have inspired me and to also share the great things I see happening in other libraries, particularly Georgia libraries.
