harmon.ie Topics is an app that presents knowledge workers with
information from Office 365 apps, organized by familiar topics like names
of products, projects, services, or customers. Until now, workers accessed
work content via disparate apps; documents in SharePoint, One Drive,
Teams, or as email attachments; emails in Outlook, events in Calendar,
and so on. But this is alien to how we think. Because what we think about
are business topics like customers, products, and services. harmon.ie
Topics, for the first time, categorizes Office 365 information the way we
think, by topics, so we can focus on what matters most, our business.
As an Azure managed app, harmon.ie Topics essentially leverages
Microsoft technologies like the Microsoft Graph to securely connect the
Azure and Microsoft 365 clouds in order to present prescriptive insights,
like what to work on next, to knowledge workers.
First, harmon.ie Topics analyze workers’ emails securely on the customer’s
Microsoft tenant using natural language processing (NLP). To uncover
business topics. Then it uses machine learning and sophisticated
algorithms and the Microsoft Graph to score topics in order to surface
relevant and contextual information to each individual knowledge worker.
Harmon.ie Topics is uniquely tuned to help workers tasked with email and
document retention tasks, by helping identify which emails should be
saved to SharePoint for storage. It then helps workers select the
appropriate storage location and the appropriate metadata.
