- A significant number of the projects we fund already use digital technology in some way, for promotion, to make heritage more accessible through images and information on the web, or through using social media to increase access, for example through i-Phone apps. We think that digital technology is now sufficiently widely available, cost-effective and part of everyday life that we could ask all projects to make use of it, in an appropriate and proportionate way
- Plan at the outset for the project to become both financially sustainable and something your organisation can administratively sustain over the long term. This will require a level of on-going staff and or volunteer input. • Plan at the outset for the on-going development of the project in order to respond to changes in audience behaviour, any potential new audiences who might emerge, and any opportunities and constraints arising from changes in hardware and software.
