  3. The #1 search engine Google’s mission statement is "to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful“. And guess who owns YouTube?

  5. Fact: 60 hours of video is uploaded to YouTube every minute of the day. Fact: Over half of all web traffic after 5PM is ALREADY video traffic
  6. Fact: 100 Million people take an action on YouTube (likes, share, comments) every week. Fact: YouTube mobile gets 600 Million views every day. Fact: In 2011 there were more than 1 Trillion video views.
  7. As video continues to grow on the web, learning to use video strategies now can set you apart from your competition.
  8. Your YouTube Channel Can be purposed as a second website. Your channel is the homepage. Your videos are the web pages.
  9. To build authority, make sure you keep your videos relevant to the topic of your channel.
  10. 1. Write down a list of FAQ or problems you help your clients solve. Come up with as many as you can. 2. Identify which ones would make good, short videos. 3. Set aside 1 hour a week and make a video on your list. At the end of the month you’ll have 4 videos to market. 4. If you are a local business, optimize for your local market plugging in city names, zip codes, area codes and other things that help distinguish your local area. (Put these in your title, description, and tags) Your plan is to get your message in front of people looking for the solutions you have. People don’t use Yellow Pages anymore. They search online. Tell them what you promised in the title of the video (Value) 4. Conclude with a repeat statement (Recap) 5. Advise them with some helpful advice. (Mentor) 6. Call them to action with words like “visit, read, buy, share” (CTA) 7. Get quiet and wait by leaving the CTA direction (link) sitting in front of them for at least 15 seconds (Decision)

  1. There’s no benefit to throwing a ton of unrelated videos on one channel.That would simply dilute your channel’s authority.Follow this rule and your ranking and quality score will skyrocket.
