The 1989 film Batman was directed by Tim Burton and based on the comic book of the same name. It takes place in the corrupt Gotham City, which is only protected by Batman, played by Michael Keaton. He fights the villainous Joker, portrayed by Jack Nicholson. Bruce Wayne by day and Batman by night, Batman tries to save Gotham from criminals like the Joker, while also growing close to reporter Vicki Vale, played by Kim Basinger. The film follows Batman and the Joker's battle of good versus evil in the dark city of Gotham.

Wayne; Jack Nicholson played malicious and
bad Joker with the tact and perfection. A
charming actress Kim Basinger played the role of
the journalist Vicky Vale who fell in love with the
secret hero.

3. The action of the film takes place in Gotham City, dark, gloomy city
"protected" only by the corrupted police. But there is also the Batman
who each night sets off for the Gotham City in order to defend local
residents from the evil. The film is opened with the scene where a
few thugs are attacking defenceless parents with the child wanting to
murder them. However, the Batman occurs and saves the family.
Bruce’s parents were murdered by Jack Napier in the similar way...
After the short period of time Jack Napier faces the Batman. After
short brawl with Batman, Jack’s face is melted with chemicals when
he falls into the vault full of green liquid which seems to be strong
acid. Although falling into an acid Jack menages to survive. Now, he
seeks revenge on Batman. A never-ending battle between good and
evil begins, but as we all know there is only one winner – the good.
