Coming infrastructure projects even exceed the present problems

Reconstruction of the Noise protection Extensive highway extension
    old Elbe tunnel tubes (A 7) project (A 7) projects (A 7 and A 23)

Reduced capacity during the construction phase

                                  Increasing traffic congestions

                               Increasing environmental pollution
Result: Negative effects on residential and commercial areas

                                  Systems approach:
                                  • The integrated traffic management approach is built on
existing base projects and the data interchange device
                                      of the Hamburg Verkehrsverbund
                                  • It connects the base projects to a sound system with
                                      an integrated overall conception.

                                  Consequences and conclusions:
                                  • SUN will be established step by step.
                                  • At first every base project shall be realized
                                      independently from one another.
                                  • The functionality of every base project is
                                      independent with limited reciprocal interactions.
                                  • The project partners are selected independently, too.

                                  Widely on the basis of
                                  practically proven components!
