What have you learnt about technologies from the
process of constructing this product?

This is all the technology I used from pre-production and through the process of making
my film opening. Some ofthese technologies I have used before and some I have not
however through the process I have learnt more than I knew before. Some of these
Technologies are used more than others to complete my film opening however they
all have an important part.
Slideshare was a way of putting word
documents power points Prezi on to blogger.
This was used when I couldn’t use blogger to
upload. I have used this before and have
found that this is an easy way to get
everything on to my blog.
Prezi I used to record ideas
but in a more creative way.
This made it more fun when
coming back to look at notes
and information about what
I was going to do in my 2
min film opening. It was
really easy to use and more
creative then writing it
down on paper or in word.
Blogger is what I used to update what I have done. I would
also refer back to blogger to see past work to make sure I am
sticking to the right script, storyboard, and other key aspects.
This is also a good because it keeps everything I have done if
one place therefore making it easy when I needed information.
This was the site I used to get the music for my opening. It
was a royalty free music site therefore there was no
complications in getting music for the suspense. This was
also an easy website as could choose what type ofmusic
you want, which narrows it down to the ones which would
relate to the theme you are going for. I chose a few
different music types and tried each one when I finished
editing my whole film opening.
Premier pro was the most used
technology as this is where I
edited the entire movie opening. I
created effects ofthis as well. This
is where I cut all the clips and
edited the music to go with it. I
used the PC version as I found
this the easiest. Using premier pro
I have learnt to lower the music
how to fad it in and out also I
have learnt to add effect for
example fading clips in and out. I
am not capable of finding my way
around premier pro better.
This is the camera I used to film all
of my opening. This was my own
camera therefore I am quite aware
of how to use it. This is a good
camera as it has auto focus
therefore making sure all my film
was always in focus. It also had a
flip out scene to make it easy to look
back of the film and knowwhich bit
I had to change and film again. I
have learnt from using my own
camera that I am more productive
as I do not have to book out a
camera from school. As this was my
own camera there was not much
that I didn’t knowbefore making
this task a lot easier.
This would have been a technology I
used however I used eBay to buy props
to help complete my costumes for my
film opening.
