1. Past Significant Assignments - Jamie Covello
Arthur Young/ Ernst & Whiney – 21 Consolidations east of the Mississippi
Worked with Chairman William Gladstone on the Arthur Young
headquarters expansion. Final execution leases were out for signature
when Agreement to merge with Ernst & Whiney was announced. The
consolidation assignments included the expansion and lease extension
for 780,000 square feet to house the newly consolidated Ernst & Young
headquarters.
Office Depot Headquarters Relocation
Negotiated for three solutions over a period of four years. Two
consecutive lease negotiations were abandoned in the final round due
to executive management transitions. Office Depot ultimately committed
to a 600,000-square foot “build to suit” development in Boca Raton, FL.
This assignment also included the rationalization and valuation of Office
Depot’s existing headquarters and a comparative location analysis of all
US retail commitments as compared to its top two competitors.
2. Past Significant Assignments - Jamie Covello
General Re Decade Long National Exclusive
Represented General Re (GenRe) nationally for all US requirements for a
decade, developing a strategic plan in coordination with corporate real estate
executives which met occupancy needs. GenRe occupied top tier “trophy”
buildings in all markets. Costs were limited through well negotiated lease
terms by maximizing the Landlord’s understanding of the client’s stellar credit
and its impact on the value of the asset. Assignments included merger and
consolidations of Cologne Re and National Re.
Scott Paper Company Consolidation and Headquarters Relocations
After representing this Philadelphia based icon’s New York requirement for a
decade, was engaged by incoming President and CEO “Chainsaw” Al Dunlap to
dispose of 20 sales offices located throughout the US and Canada and relocate
the Global headquarters to Boca Raton, US headquarters in Philadelphia and
Canadian headquarters in Toronto. Each requirement was completed
simultaneously and in record time due to Mr. Dunlap’s management style. As
Philadelphia employees were relocating to Boca when Scott Paper’s sale to
Kimberly Clark was announced.

Sunbeam Corporation Industrial Consolidations and Headquarters Relocation
Engaged by Al Dunlap’s executive team once again (apparent instructions were “go
find that Covello girl”), to consolidate industrial and office commitments for
Signature Brands, First Alert with Sunbeam’s industrial requirements, along with
disposition of existing industrial properties. This assignment also included site
selection and negotiations on Sunbeam’s behalf for their 175,000 square foot
headquarters relocation.
Honeywell Corporation National Exclusive for Office and Industrial Lease
Commitments and Owned Property Agencies
Decade long exclusive engagement for national representation in strategic
planning and transaction management. Merger and consolidation requirements
were included such as the sale leaseback of the Measurex HQ, along with office
and industrial leasing, site dispositions and Agency leasing assignments for owned
portfolio properties.
