2. In the beginning,
God was all
alone…
…He was a
veritable
‘Anurag Sagar’-
Ocean of Love,
unmanifest and
beyond any
description.
But since He was
weary of being all
alone, He decided
that He should
have someone to
love Him.
3. This very thought resulted in a vibration
in His Being,
known as ‘Naam’ or ‘Word’,
comprising Divine ‘Sound’ & ‘Light’.
4. With the power of ‘Naam,’
the entire Creation
came into being.
6. Sach-Khand is under the sway of
Akaal- +ve Power beyond all Time-
Space-Causation. Supreme Creator
is manifest here as God, the Father-
Mother. It is beyond destruction.
Paar-Brahm is creation
unmanifest is under jurisdiction of
Neutral Power,
Maha-Kaal- seed Time. It is
destroyed during Maha-Pralaya.
Brahmand is manifest creation,
ruled by Kaal- Time,
-ve Power and comprises
the Causal, Astral & Physical
planes. Its dissolution is known as
Pralaya.
7. The dualistic Creation below Sach-Khand was
made by making several ‘copies of copies’ of it-
an illusory hologram (Maya!)-
a mere ‘projection’ of Truth.
8. The Supreme Lord begat
16 Sons to rule His
Creation
as its rulers.
Of these, 7 remained
in Sach-Khand; 5 in
Maha-Sunn region of
Paar-Brahm, while the
remaining became
‘key managers’ of
the first 4 planes of
the creation.
9. The fourth son,
Kaal-Niranajan, pleasing
the Lord by long penances,
acquired lordship of the
lower regions of Brahmand.
The Lord’s first son,
Kurma (Brahm) or
Tortoise (Sr.) became a
lord of
the Causal
plane of Brahmand.
He made several
‘religions’ to delude
the souls, in which
he portrays himself
as God.
10. The Lord granted Kaal-
Niranajan several boons:
1. That upon their sojourn from Earth,
the souls will no
longer merge back with God,
2. That the souls will not remember
either their source (God) or their
previous births, &
3. If God wished to reunite the
prodigal souls with Himself,
He would send His Avataars or
Swaroops or Sons to bring
them back, but they would not resort
to showing miracles-
and through Satsang- holy
congregation alone would they
influence and connect souls with
'Naam' or the 'Holy Word'.
11. Kaal Niranjan and his
consort, Maya-
or Shakti, daughter of the Lord,
became Rulers of the
Astral & Physical planes.
12. Kaal Niranjan and
Shakti gave birth to
the Tridevas:
Brahma (Michael),
Vishnu (Israel) &
Shankar (Gabriel).
They represent
the triple Gunas-
attributes:
Rajo (activity),
Sato (purity) & Tamo
(inertia).
13. Repenting his deed, Kaal
retreated to a
lonely island to meditate
upon
God, the Father…
…leaving the task of the
constant creation,
sustenance & destruction
of creation to Shakti and
the Tridevas.
14. With Shakti’s support and with the aid of gods & demons,
the Tridevas then ‘churned the Milky Ocean’…
… as a result of which the Physical plane (Earth)
came into being.
15. Souls- essences
of the Lord-
were provided
to Kaal-
Niranjan
through Maya
to populate
these regions.
16. The Human ‘Adam’ is created
equipped with
the 10 Bahya-karans-
external organs:
5 Gyanendriyas-
Organs of Perception
or Sense Organs:
• Kshotra- Ear
• Twacha- Skin
• Chakshu- Eye
• Rasana- Palate
• Ghrana- Nose
5 Karmendriyas-
Organs of Action
or Motor Organs:
• Vak- Speech
• Hastha- Hand
• Paada- Foot
• Upastha- Generative Organ
• Guda- Excretory Organ
These organs and body,
comprising 6 chakras, are
powered by the 10 ‘Pranas’.
17. In addition, the Human
‘Adam’
is also provided with
‘Mind’, comprising the
4 Antah-karans-
internal organs:
• Manas- Cognition
• Buddhi- Intellect
• Chitta- Feeling
• Ahankar- Ego
All these are
ultimately created
by the ‘spirit’, which
itself functions thru’
its own agencies:
• Surat- Inner Hearing
• Nirat- Inner Seeing
18. Through the various
organs, the humans
become extroverted.
They are quickly ensnared
by the 5-fold vices:
lust, anger, greed,
attachment & ego,
with whom they
struggle endlessly.
The punishment for
indulgence is meted
out in hell- chains of iron.
Good deeds merit heaven;
but these are chains too-
those of gold!
Karmas- good & bad- both bind.
Rebirth follows inevitably.
19. Thus, by enforcing the ‘Law of Karma’, Kaal & Maya keep souls
entangled in ‘Chaurasi’, not wishing to let them
return to their pristine home from their captivity.
20. ‘Chaurasi’ is the Wheel of 8.4 million life-forms,
comprising 4 classifications.
Chaurasi is driven by karma and in it,
the soul keeps revolving endlessly.
21. The Human
life-form is the
‘Crown of Life’,
obtained after toiling
through all lower life-
forms for aeons and
aeons.
The Human birth is a
unique opportunity
for the soul to be
liberated...
…failure to do so
would return it to the
bondage of ‘Chaurasi’.
22. The soul is weary from transmigrations to the Physical World by
being born repeatedly from Maya’s womb.
It now feels pangs of separation from God.
23. It longs to return Home and
to be re-united with God.
The soul now wishes to be liberated.
25. The Lord sends His Divine sons- ‘Sant-Satgurus’- perfect
Masters upon Earth in human guise in order to liberate
the soul and guide it back homewards.
26. Lord’s second son, Gyani
or Yogjit is the ‘Father of
Sant-Mat’.
He takes birth on earth
repeatedly and has come
in all four Ages. His
principal name in
Kali Yuga is Kabir.
Sants are directed by
Kabir to liberate souls
from the clutches of Kaal.
They represent the
Positive Power and are
ever present on earth.
Without them life could
not even sustain.
27. God’s Divine sons
i.e. Sants or perfect Masters
come in
human guise in order
to be able to directly
communicate with us.
They live like us and share our
joys & sorrows.
But they remain inwardly
connected with God, the
Father, whose self-form
they actually are.
28. There are several Grades
of Gurus Or Masters:
•Yogis, who traverse
Brahmand, but being
bound themselves, they
cannot liberate others.
•Sadhus, whose reach is
upto Paar-Brahm.
•Sants, who take one to
God, the Father (‘Ekankar’)
in
Sach-Khand, and
•Param Sants, who are
One with God Supreme.
A true perfect Master gives a first-hand
connection with the Light & Sound of
God, provides protection
by residing at the Third Eye.
He takes one to the True
Celestial Home.
29. Love first
emanates in the
heart of the
Beloved,
Sant-Satguru.
His
love-locks criss-
cross the entire
globe and
encircle the
lovers, bringing
them to his holy
Feet.
30. Getting drawn
toward the living
Sant-Satguru
through silken
threads of
Love, the soul takes
refuge under Him.
It begins to realize
the true purpose of
life- self-knowledge
and God-realization.
31. The long and
weary ‘Dark
Night of the
soul’ thus
comes to an
end…
…at long last,
the soul has
been
awakened to
its condition.
32. The soul is
now linked
with the
Supreme
Divine thru’
the Power
of ‘Naam.’
Its Store-
house
karmic
account is
destroyed
and it
becomes rid
of
‘Chaurasi’.
During
Naamdan-
spiritual
initiation,
the Power
of Sant-
Satguru’s
own life-
impulse is
transmitted
to the soul.
The soul
is initiated
into the
‘Mysteries of
the Beyond.’
33. There are 9 doors in the
human body opening into
the external world.
But there is a secret
10th door as well that
opens into the beyond.
During spiritual initiation,
this door is
opened up through
Master’s own
attention power and
the soul is freed from
its bondage.
It is known variously as: Third or Single Eye,
Divya Chakshu, Shiva Netra, Nukta-e-Savaida
and so on. But the 10th door is locked and the
soul is trapped into the Physical world.
Its key is with the perfect Master.
34. The Sant-Satguru
teaches
‘Positive Mysticism’-
the ‘art of living,’
as well as the
‘art of loving’:
Universal Love,
Ethical thinking,
Ethical dieting &
Ethical living, Satsang,
Selfless service &
Surrender to
God’s Will.
35. Even more importantly, He teaches the ‘Art of Meditation’,
known as ‘Surat-Shabd Yoga’.
Meditation is the art of inversion within the true ‘Temple of
God’- the human body, in which God Himself resides, along
with His entire Creation.
36. Since the Human body was made in the ‘image of God
and His Creation’, it also models the Cosmic Dwelling!
The temples- made of brick and mortar- are but a model
of the Human body-temple- made by God’s own hands.
37. Meditation begins with
Simran- stilling the body and
mind by focusing attention
at 3rd Eye and mentally
repeating the five
charged Names given
at the time of initiation.
Inner vistas open up during
Dhyan.
Through focus on inner
hearing, Bhajan, the soul
listens to Shabd- Music
being played by Divine
hands and is drawn upwards.
38. The soul sees Lights of different colors and
inner Skies filled with Clouds and Stars.
39. And when this Star
breaks up and
scatters…
The soul selects
the brightest Star
and focuses on it.
45. The soul carries
the burden of
Sanchit (storehouse),
Prarabdh (fate) &
Kriyaman (ongoing)
Karmas.
The Fate Karmas last only until
the present lifetime,
while the Ongoing
karmas are
burnt up through
meditation and living a
life of surrender.
46. Gurudev now takes the soul
in His lap into the inner
regions.
One by one, the koshas-
layers of mind-matter
covering the soul are
removed.
With the Storehouse
karmas having been taken
up by Satguru during
initiation, the
soul can now rise above
body-consciousness.
47. …It is now capable to accessing the Paar-Brahm region.
The soul, being now Nih-karma i.e. free of all Karma,
is free to exit from Brahmand…
48. The liberated soul now bathes in Man-sarovar lake, and
devoid of all karmic dross, becomes a Hansa- swan.
49. The soul then crosses the dark and deep Great Void,Maha-sunna (or
Bhava-sagar- ‘Ocean of the world’) under Satguru’s own radiant
guidance, and reaches Bhanwar-gupha- Whirling Cave.
Sensing close proximity to God,
it then cries out: ‘Sohang’ or ‘I am as you are.’
50. The soul finally
reaches
Sach-Khand and
regains its
pristine light of
16 suns.
It first merges
with the Divine
form of
Satguru
(‘fana-fil-
sheikh’).
It acquires
complete
self-knowledge.
51. The long journey is now at an end.
The ‘Prodigal Son’ has returned home.
The soul-droplet then goes on to merge with its source:
The Supreme Lord, Anurag Sagar- Ocean of Love
(‘fana-fil-allah’).
But with the seer and the seen merging,
there is none left now to tell the tale!
