2. Why creative methods of learning ?
• students will understand the importance of
the theory
• are indispensable for the training and
preparation of young specialists in business
• students are motivated to come to courses
3. The purpose
• to assess and to improve the economic
knowledge of the students - in general
• fixing theoretical knowledge of marketing
specialists
The components:
- a quantitative part
- a qualitative part
4. Presentation of the program
• 5 stages
• the students shall be divided into sub-groups
• all the companies shall get the same data in
the beginning
5. Attitude of the coordinating teacher
– shall provide the required information on the
game;
– shall explain the common elements to all the
competitors;
– shall offer incentives to the winners
6. Conclusions
• During the first 6 periods, more than half of the
students knew how to use the data in order to
substantiate a strategy on marketing mix, which
generated the best results especially in the
presence of competition
• increase of the number of students taking part in
applied activities in average by rather 20%
• to moderator’s questions, at the end of the
teaching cycle, 80% of the students answered
positive
