1) Choose the verb that fits better.
I was waiting/waited for my vacations since last year, it was going/was to be my first
time going abroad, and I was/was being so excited that I was forgot/forgot a lot of
things. I was spending/spent a lot of time showing off this trip that I didn´t ask to my
friends for some recommendations, so the worst happened. First of all I didn’t take
into account the traffic, there was/having such a long line, I was driving to a crawl,
after 30 minutes I Got to the airport so I was walking to the airline´s desktop and they told me something
unbelievable, I was/was being in the wrong terminal and for that moment I was/am so
mad, the good thing was that the right terminal was a bit close, of course I took/was
taking a taxi, while I was going/went on my way, I googled the
weather for that day, oh my God, it was going to be a cloudy
day!, so when I got to the right terminal, while I was
showing/showed all my documents, I saw in a big screen that my fly was cancelled! Of
course I was about to have a heart attack, the only thing I could do was wait until night.
