A320 Family - Main Highlights
• 4291 A320 Family aircraft delivered
224 customers and 246 operators
• 4000th A320 Family aircraft delivered to TAM on August 2009
• A backlog of >2200 aircraft, representing more than 5 years of
production
• Production rate will be increased from 34 to 36 aircraft per month in
December 2010 (Toulouse 15, Hamburg 18, Tianjin 3)
• First delivery from Final Assembly Line in Tianjin China in June 2009
• 50 Million revenue take-offs since 1988

A380 New Design Weights Option
• From 2013 onwards for new aircraft deliveries, airlines will be able to select
increased design weights:
Current variant : 569 t / 391 t / 366 t for MTOW/MLW/MZFW
Increased Variant : 573 t / 393 t / 368 t
• Adds ~100nm range on MTOW-limited missions
Range capability increased to 8,300nm
Adds ~ 1.5t (3300lb) max. structural payload on MZFW-limited missions
• Leveraging output from more than 45,000 Flight Cycles (end April 2010) of full-
scale fatigue test so far
That is 2.4 DSG (“aircraft lives”) and test continuing to > 2.5 aircraft lives
• Achieved through loads reductions (Partly through flight control laws optimisation)
and minor local modifications
