Costume
- When he decides to fight crime, he purchases a costume from eBay, wields two batons, and
calls himself "Kick-Ass".
-members of X-Men have own uniform which contain a specialized logo “X”.
Abilities
-Have natural super power by an accident or chance that related with science misgivings.
After bumping into a wall, Scott's eyes began to hurt. Although he was able to see fine at first,
he was unable to control it, Scott opened his eyes and destroyed everything in his line of sight
with his new optic blast vision.
-But, some of superheroes did not have any super powers and still can be a powerful
superhero.
Mindy’s daddy, Damon Macready trained her in the martial arts and taught her on how to use
various types of weapon which including guns, knives, and grenades.

Many superheroes work together to protect and destroy enemies from being attacked by them.

However, in kickass 2 movie, the superheroes can eliminate enemies or criminal by
themselves such as Hit girl.
Similarities
-Both have included the love stories in the movie.

3. During those ages when we are just a little kid, we dreamt to be a superhero that could
protect the world from being attacked or destroyed by enemies. We always worship to the
superheroes that we liked when we watch the superheroes movies. Not only that, we also
even act as them by using a scarf, tie on our necks and crazy around with our friends.
Recently, I adored with two kinds of superhero movies after I watched them. Those movies
are The Kick-Ass 2 and The X-Men 2 which mainly attract teenager’s attention nowadays
when they plan to watch a movie. However, there are many differences between these two
superheroes movie that we could see from their abilities, costume, and even their operation
when they fight criminal.
One of the differences between these two movies is their abilities to fight with
enemies. As we know that, most of the superheroes have own abilities like super powers to
protect the world from being destroyed by enemies and sometimes they received their super
powers by accident or chance which frequently related with scientific misgivings. For
example, in the X-Men movie, Scott Summers received his ability through an accident when
he went to the Blue high school prom with his date, Selina Ki. That time, his eyes began to
hurt after bumping into a wall. Even though he was able to see fine at first, but he unable to
control it and started to destroy everything in his line of sight with his new optic blast vision
as he opened his eyes in the prom. However, there are some superheroes that did not have
any of the super powers but still can be a powerful superhero. From this statement, we could
see from The Kick-Ass 2 movie that showed Hit Girl fight with criminal by using her well
learned martial arts and weapons in the beginning of the movie. Her dad, Damon Macready
trained her in the martial arts and taught her on how to use various types of weapons such as
guns, knives, grenades and others after he released from prison.
Besides, we could see the differences of these two movies through their costumes. We
know that X-Men are a team of mutant superheroes which under organization that was led by

characters in the Kick-Ass 2 movie mostly have their personal costumes that represent their
superheroes identity including their symbols which made by themselves. In addition, their
weapons are mostly found or made by themselves too. For instance, Dave Lizewski is an
ordinary high school student which hoped to become a real superhero that helps people in
trouble. He purchases his superhero costume from the eBay website which is green and
yellow in colour. He also just made two batons as his weapons to fight with the criminal and
named himself as “Kick-Ass”.
Last but not least, there is also another differences in these two movies which is their
operation when fight with enemies. Mostly the X-Men’s members would operate together to
eliminate their enemies that could harm the world with their natural super powers. However,
in the movie of Kick-Ass 2, Mindy Macready, the Hit Girl could fight with the criminal
individually with her martial arts and weapons without any help from others. In addition,
Kick-Ass tried to stop two criminals from stealing a car during his first operation of
becoming the superhero but failed and was sent into to hospital.
Even though these two superheroes movies have many differences, but there is still
have similarities which both stories have included the love scene. As we know that, Jean
Grey is the girlfriend of Scott Summers which is a teacher at Xavier’s School. She gets
caught up in a love triangle between herself and the man that she loves; Scott Summers
included the Wolverine in the X-Men movie. Not only that, Mindy Macready who is the
superhero of Hit Girl interested with her ally, Dave Lizewski, an ordinary teenager that wants
to become a superhero due to help others in trouble and named himself as Kick-Ass. In the
end of the Kick-Ass 2 movie, she kissed Dave after she mentioned that she have to leave New
York as she have to protect her adopted parent, Marcus Williams from police inquiry.

5. To conclude that both movies have own special traits that attract a lot of audience to
watch these movies even though in these movies have contained violence scene that seemly
not suitable for children to watch. Furthermore, I’m really thought that both movies are good
suggestions to entertain people during free time as both are very interesting and nice to watch.
