By 2030, the vision is to positively impact 1 million Liberian children through soccer. The founder shared this vision with the President of Liberia after returning from 40 years in the U.S. Training has been conducted for league commissioners and community organizers to support the vision. Community spaces have been cleaned and over 2,000 players marched in a parade to kick off Liberia's first national youth soccer league, with the Vice President in attendance. Games have brought together communities and attracted thousands of spectators, while celebrating champions and imparting hope to disadvantaged youth.
30. Sometimes a little prayer is necessary to increase hope. West Point,
Liberia is the second worse slum community in the world, but 1,000
wonderful children from there are in our soccer program.
31. Just when I was about to crash physically, help arrived. My good friends from
Dallas Baptist University Women’s soccer team came to Liberia for 10 days to
conducted skills clinics, share testimonies, and pour love on lots of children.
32. We believe! We have our eyes on the Dallas Cup.
