- 6. SOCIAL STUDIES FIRST 45 MINUTES Do Social Studies Warm-up Activity a. Monday “Your issues” Students will write in journal an issue they have and then write out a solution to the issue. Apply God’s Word/Truth to the solution. b. Tuesday Newspaper/Magazine Article Read article Summary in 3-5 sentences using proper grammar and spelling Wednesday “What’s happening?” Write a paragraph about something (whether it be an event, program, activity…ANYTHING!) going on in your neighborhood, church, community, etc. Thursday Newspaper/Magazine Article Read article Summary in 3-5 sentences using proper grammar and spelling
