SUPERVALU:
Randy Burdick was appointed as SUPERVALU’s chief information
officer. In this role Burdick is responsible for SUPERVALU’S IT
infrastructure and personnel, and the Shared Service/Contact Center
Organization. He joined the company in March 2013 and has more than
28 years of experience working in retail operations and high technology
manufacturing.
Prior to joining SUPERVALU, Burdick spent the last eight years at OfficeMax serving as the
executive vice president and chief information officer. While at OfficeMax, he implemented
supply chain improvements that created a single supply and demand planning process for
B2B & B2C businesses. He also enhanced capabilities beyond cross-channel optimization
including yard management, cross docking, voice pick, real-time delivery confirmation,
truckload optimization as well as route optimization.
