Education

I obtained a Ph.D. Cognitive Science at the University of Arizona, but migrated to Computer Science during 1999 - 2000. Since then I have worked mostly as a computer scientist. My main interest has always been semantics, and I carried this into computer science. My current expertise is in the fields of Semantic Web and Ontologies, Web2.0 and the Social Semantic Web, Linked Data and Information Integration and Management. I have experience in dealing with deep theoretical questions from the natural sciences, but equally enjoy implementing solutions as a computer scientist. I have a popular linked data app on the Apple store, called MapXplore.
