Our big question was how do we redesign the school
medial room to be more eco friendly?

Our Medical room now is good, and is a place
were you can come when you are feeling sick or
are injured. It supplies space and comfort for
hurt students but keep watching for the new and
improved Medical room.

We will use wool insulation
We will have double glazed windows
We will have eco blankets and rugs made from
wool and a small exception of poler fleece
We will have a solar heated water tank installed
Curtains will also help as they keep the room
insulated

We think that the bathroom needs to be bigger
and update the decor.
We also think that the medical room itself needs
to be enlarged and be made more inviting.
Also the beds need to be kept tidier after use.
So the use of quilts and/or polar fleece blankets
will help as they are easy to make up.

• We need some curtains that will
contain the heat, now we only have
blinds and they are good for blocking
light but curtains are more insulating.
These can be an addition to the blinds
as it will be great to have the option to
use either/or both.
• Also we would like underfloor heating
and new Lino as we need a surface that
can be kept hygienically clean.

We think that there should be some more beds in the room
because we get quite alot of patients. On the beds we should
get some polar fleece blankets to make it more inviting as
they are warm, cheap, colourful and easy to wash.
We also need a greater selection of treatments such as,
pamol, arnica and a range of different plasters and
dressings.
We think that there should be a freezer in there because
when we get the ice packs we get them from the staff room.

We would like to change the look of the bathroom, now it
doesn’t look very nice so to change it would be great!
We would like to change the way it echos, now it is a problem
to people on duty.
The bathroom is so small and stuffy and currently we have
only one toilet which is not adequate in a school our size, you
only need several people with tummy bugs and could end up
with a catastrophe.

Our Design is better because it is Eco
friendly it is also better for the patients
who come into the Medical Room when
they are injured or not felling well.
It has more space and room for the
patients.
