Oil companies in Pakistan are selling petrol with 25mg of magnesium per liter, putting lives at risk of cancer, particularly for drivers. In advanced countries, the magnesium ratio in petrol is much lower. Pakistan's Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority has directed oil companies to reduce the magnesium level to zero, and the Supreme Court is investigating the issue in the public interest.
