• The mLMS eLearning application is a
N-tier web application (presentation,
application and data tiers) built mostly
on top of open source technologies.
• It is truly database independent, it

works on Postgre SQL open source
database server as well as on
commercial database servers like
Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 or
Oracle 11g.
• The application architecture is divided
in two different components: the
content repository server and the
learning management system server.
The content repository is a lightweight
content management system
customized for the eLearning
activities.
