About Me
Over the past 3 years, Daniel has been involved in Information Technology Project Implementations. Daniel has worked in
designing and creating Extract , Transform, and Load (ETL) Processes as well as Essbase, Planning, EPMA, Essbase
Studio Implementations and Master Data Management. Daniel has also worked in implementing OBIEE implementations
with Essbase cubes. His experience spans the Aeorspace & Defense and Health & Life Sciences Industies.

August 2011 – November 2011
-Implemented an ETL Process using PL/SQL to source data from the IFR to the Data
Warehouse and dynamically build hierarchies
-Created Process for a Direct and Indirect Application for the US and Canada

Oracle Hyperion Implementation for Bio-Pharmaceutical Company
November 2011 – March 2012
This Implementation was featured in Oracle Profit Magazine. We started with a system that was not very
flexible and required many manual changes from the users. We are in the process of automating the
solution to improve efficiency, data quality, and reduce manual input through our implementation.
Implementation So Far:
- Implemented a Consolidated Reporting Model using Essbase Studio
- Implemented an ETL Process to source the data into the Consolidated Reporting Cube
- Created a cube swap process using MaxL and Batch Scripting to automatically reload the data nightly
and intraday (every hour)
- Created Interface Tables for EPMA Stage 2 Implementation

Oracle Hyperion Implementation for Bio-Pharmaceutical Company (Phase 2)
April 2012 – October 2012
This project is Phase 2 of a multi-phase Hyperion Implementation
-Implemented Workforce Planning and Expense Planning systems
-Linked Workforce and Expense cubes via XRefs
-Created ~100 Planning forms to be used by 5 divisions
-Created over 30 business rules including: allocation scripts and currency conversion scripts
-Established replicated partition between Expense and Consolidated Reporting Cube
-Created Windows batch scripts and automated processes for nightly, monthly, and intraday (hourly
processes)
-Designed extraction process to export supporting detail from Hyperion Planning to the Data
Warehouse
-Led over 10 Business Adoption Model sessions to educate users on the features of the new system
