• Master Plan of the Kakinada city was sanctioned in
the year 1975 vide G.O.M.s.No. 389 M.A. dt. 10.9.75.
At present the Building approvals are being accorded
as per the Master Plan.
• As per the instructions issued by the Director of Town
& Country Planning, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, the
preparation of master plan for the Kakinada city with a
vicinity area of 5 kms, Planning area with surrounding
34 villages- 161.83 Sq.Kms around the city was

Revenue Details
• Revenue wing looks after the collection of
property tax, vacant land tax, water tax etc.
• Revenue wing has conducted survey to identify
under assessed and un-assessed properties in
the city and expects an increase of Rs. 1 crore in

92% of total property tax demand.
• There are two revenue zones and five revenue
circles with 32 revenue wards and 70 revenue
