Established in the early 1920’s, SIHI Pumps Americas is one of the
world leaders in liquid ring vacuum pump technology. Supplying a
wide range of vacuum pumps for many industries and providing
reliable, trouble free operation.
Lutz-JESCO America Corp., has injected liquid chemicals into

Since 1939 Sioux Corporation has been designing and
manufacturing industrial-quality cleaning equipment,
water heating and cooling systems, solution heaters and
steam generators.

5. Autoclave and Pressure Oxidation
Pressure oxidation was developed for
processing refractory ores where gold
is occluded in the sulfide minerals,
typically pyrite or arsenopyrite.
Oxidation of the sulfides at elevated
temperatures and pressures liberates
the gold, allowing it to be economically
recovered by conventional circuits.
Autoclaves have also been recently
started up on nickel, copper, & zinc
duties to name a few.
There are two major processes that are carried
out in Autoclaves in Mining
Pressure Oxidation (POX)
Gold, Copper
High Pressure Acid Leach (HPAL) Laterite Nickel

6. Pressurized Oxidation (POX)
In Pressure Oxidation (POX) for Gold processing,
oxygen is used to oxidize and remove the sulfides
from the ore, allowing it to be leached conventionally
(Cyanide Leaching).
Typically up to 500 psia and 450 F
The agitator has several duties to achieve:
Oxygen mass transfer (controlling factor typically)
Gas Dispersion A200
Solids Suspension and blending
Rushton impellers (LIGHTNIN R100) are impeller of
choice typically in the high gas rate compartments
(good gas dispersion/mass transfer)
Pitch bladed turbines (LIGHTNIN A200) are used in
the remaining compartments due to lower gas rates.

11. Chemical Feed Systems – Pre- Engineered Systems
This System is used for smaller flow applications, where
space is limited. This unique System comes
convieniently pre-packaged and ready for immediate
use. Including:

Systems
Water Sampling Stations - the complete
solution
Measure and control all parameters required to be
recorded online – even combined chlorine. The
sampling stations are fitted with the latest measuring
and control equipment, for maximum operational
convenience. Installation is easy because of the pre-
mounted components.
These innovative systems include nearly maintenance-
free sensors and are self-contained.
