On behalf of the Astros, I negotiated its credit facilities and in its participation of broadcast television revenues under the Major League Baseball sharing agreement. Upon the 1993 sale of the Astros from then-owner John McMullen to Drayton McLane, I continued to represent the ball club in its financings.

As the Chan Warner lead attorney representing the City of Houston, I negotiated indentures for multiple layers of bond financings in the construction of the Hobby Center For The Performing Arts and related garage building.
Coral Energy (later known as Shell Power and Trading) hired me to work through a large backlog of swap transactions, which I was able to complete in a year while advising on mezzanine financing for some of Shell Oil Company’s other projects.
