1. Neptune NEPTUNE: Good morning, today I will teach you about Neptune. It is the third biggest planet in the Solar System. Neptune is the furthest planet ever known in the solar system. Neptune`s orbit is going counter-clockwise. People say Pluto is further than Neptune but it depends on where it is in it’s orbit around the Sun.
2. Surface: Part of Neptune's surface is made of hard rock but mostly it is made of ice and methane gas and clouds.
3. Gases: Neptune doesn`t have a lot of different gas but one of the gases is protecting Neptune. It is the methane gas. It is part of Neptune`s atmosphere. The other gases are helium gas and hydrogen gas. Neptune's clouds and atmosphere: Neptune’s atmosphere is made of clouds and methane gas. The clouds make the planet blue.
4. Moons: Neptune has 14 different moons. The 8 satellites found 8 in 1658. In 1989 they found 6 other moons so they have found all the moons. The names are Naiad, Thalassa, Despina, Galatea, Larissa, Proteus, Triton and Nereid. Neptune’s largest moon is Triton.
5. Temperature: Neptune is the coldest planet in the solar system. The temperature is -225`c and -373`f. It`s largest moon of Neptune Triton is colder.
6. The rings of Neptune: Satellites images show three rings of Neptune. They are surrounding Neptune.
7. How Neptune has been created? Neptune was created by 3 different gases. The group of gases attached together and created Neptune.
8. Distance from Neptune to the sun: The distance between Neptune and the sun is 2.6 billion miles.
9. Does Neptune contain life? It is like all the other planets except Earth. It doesn't have any people living on it because it is coldest planet in the solar system. It has water but it is frozen. It doesn`t have any plants or any carbon dioxide to give to the plants so they can make oxygen.
