The value of education is something that I didn’t come to realize until late in life. I did not expect to get educated. However, my calling was greater than that. I want to learn to communicate better so that I can lead education towards innovative thinking. As an educator, I am inspired by the different innovative technological findings surfacing and plan to continue growing in knowing and education. I believe my inspiration comes from my parents who faced many struggles as I was growing up. Together they had 14 children and raised us in the West Side of San Antonio. My dad was the only wage earner and my mom a housewife. Early in their marriage, they made a commitment to do everything.
