Job Profile:
I am responsible for the day-to-day management of all departments and store in accordance with the company's SOP.
My main focus is to improve the process & commercial performance of the store by increasing its turnover and maximizing profitability.
Achieving performance objectives requires action in one of the main areas of retail activity: store operations, human resources,
customer care, marketing, information technology and administration.
Major parts of the job on a day-to-day basis include managing staff, finding new ways to improve sales, and meeting customer demand.
Managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
Plan the training at least 1 month in advance and deliver the training keeping HR informed
Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control.
Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits.
Analyzing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning.
Follow up on SM's and TL's One to Ones, track progress and report deviation to GM / DGM and take corrective actions.
Ensure SM has worked on the price override report of the previous day and changed the SELs where every possible.

Ensure that the department is well advertised and signage with correct pricing and information for customers - especially on end caps.
Using information technology to record sales figures and for data analysis and forward planning.

Ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met.

II. Achievements

Success full opening of Indore Hyper Market with the record breaking figure. With the contribution of 22% sale of my division in the total
store sale.
Being a part of operations to be able to do marketing and to setup many New Stores in Punjab & Haryana Region and the biggest store in
India has been opened in Chandigarh
Received Appreciation Letters from Customers twice in just Six months while working with Study by Janak.
Awarded with "Best Store Manager" award for handling the Stores as per the Company's Formats.

Revenue Generation
Achieves Sales targets and ensures profitability of the store.
Keeps costs low by budgeting the expenses.
Operations
Ensures that all the activities during Store opening and store closing are adhered to.
Makes sure that the Cash till is functioning optimally and minimum manual bills are prepared.
Coordinates with IT on issues relating to cashiering, schemes etc.
initiating changes to improve the business, e.g. revising opening hours to ensure the store can compete effectively in the local market;
Competition Mapping
Develop awareness about the organized, unorganized retailing segments and Identifying their strengths and weaknesses.
Identifying competitors in each and every category. Comparing their prices.
Comparing the physical appearances, fixtures, lighting and Area allocation per category of competitors.
Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry.
Space Management
Analyze space allocation category-wise and subcategory-wise with respect to the Sales generated & Stock capacity.
Increase or decrease space allocation and make alteration of fittings on the
basis of such analyses.
Customer Service
Resolving Customer Complaints.
Interacting with customers & obtaining their feedback.
Addresses concerns and queries of customers by being personally available to them.
Visual Merchandising
Maintains the look of the store in consultation with the Visual Merchandiser.
