People are spending more times on their phones than
ever before. This new marketing world consists of
smart phones, mobile sites, and global marketing.
Now most marketers accept that there isn’t a one size fits all
approach and that decisions should be based upon their business
needs and aims of individuals.
Consumer preference is more in favor of mobile apps (85%) than
mobile sites. The most common reason for this is people see mobile
apps as more convenient, faster, and easier to browse than mobile
sites.
*65% OF U.S. SMARTPHONE SHOPPERS PREFER TO
USE MOBILE WEB TO MOBILE APPS FOR SHOPPING
According to google, half of smartphone shoppers use their mobile
(for shopping) for as much as 15 minutes per store visit. 90% of
smartphone shoppers use their phone for pre-shopping activities.
1in 3 people say they will use their mobile phone in store to find
information rather than ask an employee.
CONSUMERS PREFER CUSTOMER SERVICE OVER SOCIAL
MEDIA THAN IN PERSON.
64% of consumers are willing to give up their social identity with a
service provider in order to get better service.

Customers would rather purchase from businesses with an active
Facebook Fan Page rather than without. From a marketing perspective
it delivers the best chances for brands to create a community full of
active and loyal customers.
