keep, and miles to RUN before I sleep Robert Frost
Welcome, initial tone setting, Points (half the journey, running is an implicit part of life, big deal about running on road)
To put in my two pennies worth. Benefits of running are countless, which go beyond the health benefits. It give u a confident outlook, a sense of exhilaration and no, that’s not just emotional high, endorphin produced during exercise is responsible
Running comes naturally to us. That’s one sport no one needs to learn! As children….running never seizes to happen…so why make a great deal of running. lets see how we can make a start..
Before you wonder how did I start running here is a brief. Started as a cross training for an event. Did not really enjoy it at first! As running once a week 10k, even now I run just twice a week! Did my first HM in 2010..could not get down stairs..and now it suddently appears to be unbelievable that I ran the FM
Let us first see our enemy, the demotivators. There is usually a struggle within and without. Your running may threaten your less active friends! So there is a transition one needs to make…and there are ways..either find a buddy or run with a group. Every long journey begins with a small step and it can’t be any more true for running
one stage leads logically to the next. Not everyone has the same aspirations; all runners are not seeking Olympic gold. But understanding the experience common to most runners will enable you to minimize the pitfalls and maximize the gains of your running future.
Always warm up before and stretch after.
No unusual diet is necessary, drink a lot of fluids! (water preferred!)
