Hi, we’re David Mellers and Leesa Lee from Macromedia, and in this presentation, we’d like to tell you about a way to accomplish rapid training using the Macromedia Breeze web communication solution.
And now I’ll turn it over to Leesa to give you a brief demonstration of Breeze in action.
In this audience today we have people responsible for training from all parts of the organisation. There are certain trends, however, that you probably all have in common. These trends are (i) the need to train an increasing number of people inside and outside the organisation. (ii) To do so in less time, and (iii) with increasingly restricted budgets.

To look at it another way, these days training spans the range from informal to formal, where more formal means a greater need to monitor, test, and track the training results. An example of informal training is where you roll out a new HR policy, while formal training might be compliance training. In addition, you have both on-demand, or self-paced, training, as well as real-time training. An example of informal real-time training might be an all-hands company announcement, while formal on-demand training is usually in the form of instructor-led classes. So how are you, as training professionals, supposed to keep up with all these requirements. Well, what we’re here to talk to you about today is Macromedia Breeze. Breeze is a modular product that covers all of these training needs. The Breeze presentation module covers informal on-demand announcements. Breeze Training allows you to create more formal, eLearning courses, while Breeze Live is a broad solution to cover all live virtual communications.
