BROOKLAND COMMUNITY MEETING – MARCH 23, 2013 BROOKLAND MIDDLE SCHOOL PUBLIC ART • 97 Entries from 52 artists. 21 selected as semi-finalists • Semi finalists announced for each area • Entry Plaza (Community) - 8 semi finalists • Atrium – likely hanging (Diversity) – 4 semi-finalists • Outdoor Classroom (Sustainability) – 6 semi finalists • Michigan Ave (Brookland) – 4 semi finalists • Main Lobby (Performing Arts) – 6 semi finalists • Semi-finalists toured the school in early May and proposals have been submitted.

- 24. BROOKLAND COMMUNITY MEETING – MARCH 23, 2013 BROOKLAND MIDDLE SCHOOL NEXT STEPS • The next “Community Meeting” will be held in September with a focus on Academics. Place and time TBD. • The “Envelope Group” will meet again in September. • Jobsite tours for SIT, envelope group, and community.
