15. THE SETTLEMENT OF YOUR CLAIM The first step after notifying your insurance agent of the claim is to agree on the scope and pricing. We will partner with your assigned estimator after we have been retained as your contractor. We will work closely with your adjuster to ensure that they will cover every detail to restore the properly to a pre-loss condition. After the claim is agreed upon, your adjuster issues a check for all or part of the job. When you select DH Enterprises, LLC, you will sign a contract with us. All repairs are made according to the scope that all parties have agreed to. GETTING STARTED When the contract or work authorization is signed and the down payment or first draft is received, a staff member from our production department will walk the job with you before beginning restoration. PAYMENT We will accept your insurance draft or personal check as payment. MORTGAGE COMPANY ENDORSEMENTS Call our office and we will make arrangements with your mortgage company regarding endorsements, payment schedules, inspections, affidavits and all other necessary documents required.
