Football Assignment By Dhrishika Megchiani
Where was Football Originated Football was originated in England. It started in 1863 when there were two football associations (Association Football/Soccer and Rugby Football) that had to spilt of to different courses. Football was originated in it’s current form through a series of rules and standards in the 1800's.
Who made up the first organized set of rules for Football? The first set of rules was created at Cambridge University in 1848, called “The Cambridge Rules” by a committee that included H. de Winton and J. C. Thring. They are also known for allowing goal kicks, throw-ins, forward passes and for preventing running while holding the ball. These rules influenced the development of Association Football. In 1863, a revision of the rules played a big and important part of developing the rules that made Football.
How many countries play Football as their national sport? A lot of countries have football as their national sport Here are some: Indonesia, Brazil, Nigeria, México, Vietnam, Germany, Egypt, Turkey, Iran, France, Italy, England, Myanmar, Ukraine Spain, Colombia, Argentina, Poland, Tanzania, Sudan, Algeria, Morocco, Iraq, Peru, Uzbekistan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, North Korea, Ghana, Romania, Yemen, Mozambique, Syria, Côte d'Ivoire(Ivory Coast), Netherlands, Cameroon, Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala, Senegal, Greece, Portugal, Tunisia, Hungary, Guinea, Bolivia, Haiti, Benin, Somalia, Bulgaria, Honduras El Salvador, Paraguay, Libya, Jordan, Denmark, Scotland, Turkmenistan, Croatia, Costa Rica, Lebanon, Uruguay, Liberia, Albania, Armenia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Montenegro, Iceland, and Israel
Why do you think Football has become so popular around the world? Here are 3 reasons of why I think Football is so popular around the world: Football in general, is a simple game. It isn’t so complicated and consists of a few rules. And this makes it easy to understand. The game is Fast. Which makes it quite dynamic and exciting to watch and play. The game is very straight forward, and easy to capture the concept. This allows people to easily start playing and you do not need a lot of expensive equipment.
Do you think there are different ways of playing, or styles, of Football in different areas around the world? It depends on where you live in the world, and what your environment is, which makes the rules for your game. Some countries use a different object as their ball to play and have different rules (maybe adding extra thing to make the game more fun or remove a rule because it makes it hard to play) They may set up their goals differently and have more or less player than they should in each team. Their kicks are going to be basically the same as the original way.
