ECR is the acronym for eForm Custom Report built on eForm framework, which is developed to cater primarily to complex reporting requirements with zero or minimal coding.
Admin/Configuration of ECR should have good understanding of Digité constructs like eForms, tasks, efforts, defects, traceability and their inter-relationships. Thus, it is a domain aware framework. Data fetch for various cases can be done using configuration without any coding.
Understands the Digité entity relationships and automatically fetches the data in a optimized fashion and the Digité security model
ECR segments can be embedded in a tree view EForm for large, complex status reports with many sections or a tabbed view EForm, to simply capture grid kind of data consisting of simple calculations.
Since the design is based on eForms, Standard facilities available to all eForms like role-based CRUD access, tab level security, printing, versioning, version diff, base-lining, eForm plug-in support and approval workflows are available OOB. Integration with Digité dashboard is by mapping ECR cells to metrics. Built-in functions are provided for commonly used formulas and it also supports various Graphs, Tables, Row column, Grouping/Sub Grouping.
