The United States of America is the world's third largest country in size and
nearly the third largest in terms of population.
Located in North America Continent, the country is bordered on the west by
the Pacific Ocean and to the east by the Atlantic Ocean.
Along the northern border is Canada and the southern border is Mexico.
There are 50 states and the District of Columbia.
The United States has high mountains in the West and a vast central plain.
The lowest point in the country is in Death Valley which is at -282 feet and
the highest peak is Denali (Mt. McKinley) at 20,320 feet.

Liberty Island, New York.
• It was a gift of friendship from the people of France to
the United States.
• It was designed by French sculptor Frederic Auguste

15. Golden gate Bridge
• The Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge connecting the city
of San Francisco to Marin County, California.
• Upon its completion in 1937, it was the tallest and longest
suspension bridge in the world.
• It has of length of 9,266 feet and it is 90 feet wide.
• It has 6 lanes.
• There is also a footpath for people and bicycles.
• When they finished the bridge, they painted it with a reddish-
orange sealant, a type of paint that protects the bridge from water
and humidity.
• People liked the color because it looked good with the bridge's
surroundings and it was easy to see in the fog, so the bridge was
officially painted with the color, called International Orange.
• It is believed to be the most photographed bridge in the world.

United States.
• It is the first Disneyland.
• It was opened on July 17, 1955, by Walt Disney, the man
who invented Mickey Mouse.

• Many Disney characters can be found throughout the park,
