![FOR RENEWAL AND CONVERSION
The Church of the Diocese of Cubao brings to
the Basic Lay Formation experience “our own
individual failings and sinfulness, our doubts and
divisiveness. We ourselves [have] to be
converted. We [have] to learn humility in
listening to each other. We [have] to learn
respect for one another. We [have] to be obedient
to the unexpected movements of the Spirit. We
first [have] to be ‘servants of the truth’ in order
to gradually become a Christ-centered
community. In our midst throughout [this]
journey, we [are accompanied by] the powerful
presence of Mary who is our Mother and Model.”

- 3. TRACK 1 INITIATION TO RENEWAL AND CONVERSION “Our way of life – our spirituality – for social transformation is nothing more and nothing less than a following of Jesus-in-mission. It is the spirituality of the community of disciples. Such a spirituality is marked by an enduring and intimate commitment to Jesus, a love for him that does not count the cost.” Articles 277 and 278. TRACK 1 INITIATION TO RENEWAL AND CONVERSION This is a 1-day module of 8 sessions that brings us face-to-face with Jesus Christ, through Whom, with Whom, and in Whom we, as members of His Mystical Body, are brought to a deeper relationship with Him and with one another, leading to renewal and conversion, the fruits of which will be seen in a firm commitment to ministry and service.
