7. Creating the Works Cited Page
• Using MS Word, follow these
steps in order:
1) You must click No Spacing on
the top toolbar before
typing!
2) Select font Times New
Roman, size 12
3) Click the line spacing button
and choose 2.0
• Works Cited at the top of the
page and center it (do not bold,
italicize or underline it)
• Hit Enter on the keyboard 2X.
• Type or paste your citations use
these guidelines:
– Alphabetize entries ignoring an
initial A, An or The.
– You must use a hanging indent
for the second line of any
citation (hit TAB once.
