Christmas is a Christian holiday celebrated on December 25th that honors the birth of Jesus Christ. It is also celebrated as a cultural holiday by non-Christians. The Christmas season begins in Advent, about four weeks before Christmas Day, and lasts until January 6th, known as Epiphany or Twelfth Night. Christmas is one of the most important holidays for Christians, along with Easter.
