This tutorial teaches users how to find articles from a PubMed search that are recommended in Faculty of 1000. It instructs users to copy their PubMed search string, paste it into the F1000 search box after selecting the PubMed database, and then click "View only Recommended Articles" to see which of their PubMed results are recommended in F1000 and have reviews. The tutorial also notes that recommended articles in F1000 will have a button to access full text resources.

2. Goals
Through reviewing this tutorial, you will be able to find
which articles in a given set of PubMed search results
are reviewed and recommended in Faculty of 1000.

3. Once you’ve constructed a
good search in PubMed, copy
the search string from the
“Search details” box (CNTRL-
C or right-click:copy).

4. 1. Open F1000 from the
Databases list or research
guide.
2. Under the search
box, select “PubMed.”
3. Paste the PubMed search
string into the F1000
search box.

5. On your results page, click
“View only Recommended
Articles.” Now you can see
which of your PubMed
results are
recommended, and read
their reviews.

6. All F1000-recommended
article records have the
UST button for accessing
full text resources.
