- 6. O B J E C T I V E ! • Most of all, to build my own quadcopter. • RC Hobby? or Flying Cam? • To share a manual for building a RC Quadcopter. • How to build, Several tips. • There were not so many Korean references.
- 7. • You can build your own quadcopter within $400 • It flies quite well • There are various models of controller & platforms • APM / PX4 / NAZA / Naze32 / Multiwii… • Each have its own strength

- 11. C O M P O N E N T S • Frame • Motors & Props - BLDC Motors • ESCs - Speed controller • Controller - Core Part (MCU) • RF Receiver & RF Controller
- 12. W H AT I U S E D • DJI F40 Flame Wheel Kit • Including Frame, Motors, ESCs, • APM (ArduPilot Mega) • HKPilot 2.5 (Imitation? of APM) • ArduCopter Firmware
- 13. • Fix motors with each arms • Check rotational direction! • Refer to the motor layout of your controller A S S E M B L E A R M & M O T O R F I R S T S T E P
- 14. • Solder your ESCs and Power Module (or UBEC) to the plate • It’s not mandatory! • You can use ‘Power Distribution Board’. S O L D E R I N G S E C O N D S T E P
- 15. • Fix arms with the plate • Again check the motors rotational direction! • Usually, red arms are in the forward A S S E M B L E P L AT E & A R M S T H I R D S T E P
- 16. • Tip : Use Cable Tie! • And connect ESC with motors • 3 cables (How to connect?) • Well, Never mind… F I X E S C F O U R T H S T E P
- 17. • Use double-sided tape • Choose very sticky one… • Fix RF receiver as well. F I X C O N T R O L L E R F I F T H S T E P
- 18. • Check your controller’s manual carefully! • Controller Input = RF Receiver Cables • Controller Output = ESC Data Cables • Power Connections C O N N E C T C A B L E S S I X T H S T E P

- 20. • Assemble the top parts (or test motors firstly…) • It’s annoying to reassemble :( A S S E M B L E T O P E I G H T H S T E P
- 21. • Bind RF controller and RF receiver • Connect Battery • Arming Test • Check whether motors works properly B I N D I N G & A R M I N G N I N T H S T E P
