More than Just Lines on a Map: Best Practices for U.S Bike Routes
Team A Small Business Training Course
1. Introduction
Through the small business
training course the cognitive
and behavioral learning
theories will be implemented
into the training material. The
traditional classroom is the
selected mode of delivering
the training. Through the
small business training
course the Experimental
learning and Andragory
learning theories will be
analyze on how the training
affects the learners. Each
theory selected will be
evaluated on small business
training course, how the
audience responds to the
training, and on the
environment in which the
training is being conducted.
2. Experimental & Andragory
Learning Theory
The experimental
learning theory and
the adult learning
theory will be
implemented through
a traditional
classroom
environment. This will
provide a self-direct
mode teaching
strategy.
3. Cognitive Experimental
Learning
Through the small
business training course
the instructor will create
an experimental
assignment. This
instructor will assign the
learners with a task to
complete. This task
includes the learner to
select a name for his or
her small business. Once
the learner selected a
name then the learners
has to the town state
registry an register that
selected name. After the
learners complete the
register process then the
learners has to apply for a
tax identification number
4. Cognitive Adult Learning
Theory
The cognitive adult
learning theory will be
implemented into the
small business
training course by
using the learner’s
current and past
experiences to create
a successful learning
strategy.
6. Behavioral Adult Learning
Theory
How the learners
views and accept the
training course
material for the small
business training will
dictate how the
instructor presents the
training material.
7. Experimental and Andragory
Affect on Small Business Training
Course
Experimental learning
and Andragory have a
great affect in the small
business training
course. Trainees are
able to use their
experiences to help
guide them through the
training course. Most
trainees already know
what type of small
business they want to
start; this training
course is to guide
trainees through an
independent process of
starting their own small
business.
8. Theory Evaluation
Trainees must have courage to
be self-employed. In this small
business training course we
encourage our trainees not to
be afraid and to pursue their
goal of being self-employed. By
using the experimental learning
theory we encourage trainees
use there on experiences to
onset their small business. By
using the Andragory theory in
our training it allows trainees to
be self-motivated and to
independently go out and do the
ground work to starting the
business that we have trained
them to do. For example
trainees have to go out and
register their business by getting
a license through the city and
they must bring that license
back to the class the following
week.
9. Concrete Experience
Applying for business
tax Identification
Registering Business
name
Creating a business
portfolio
Creating a market
strategy
