Decade of Vaccines Collaboration

In response to Bill and Melinda Gates’ call for a “Decade of Vaccines” in January 2010 at the World Economic Forum, a number of leading global health organizations have joined together to create the Decade of Vaccines Collaboration, an unprecedented, time-limited partnership to increase coordination across the international vaccine community and create a first-of-its-kind global vaccine action plan. To be launched in early 2012, the global vaccine action plan will aim to extend the full benefits of immunization to all people, regardless of where they live.
